‘Family link’ in Forum Group sale By Sarah Kendell 22 July 2021 The businesses at the centre of a $200 million alleged fraud against Westpac have been sold to a technology company owned by a man believed to be one of the alleged fraudsters’ cousins. In a statement, Forum Group administrators Mackay Goodwin said the group of businesses had been sold “under highly challenging circumstances” to Our Kloud, “an established innovative technology solutions provider serving small and large enterprises across Australia and New Zealand”, the administrator said. Our Kloud has been mentioned in Westpac’s proceedings against liquidated Forum Group subsidiary Forum Finance as a provider of server technology to the firm, with the bank’s lawyer, Jeremey Giles, having noted Westpac’s concerns at the group’s delay in providing crucial information from Forum Finance’s computers.

  The administrator appointed to managed IT services Forum Group has sold the business to Sydney-based IT and voice service provider Our Kloud, owned by Eric Constantinidis, a man described in the Federal Court as a cousin of Bill Papas. Eric Constantinidis is the sole director and shareholder of Our Kloud. Court documents reveal that Eric Constantinidis and Bill Papas are cousins and have both been involved in amateur car racing in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia. Mr Constantinidis is recorded on Audi’s website as a customer who participated in a race series, alongside Mr Papas. The pair have been described in motor industry media as “racing friends”.
