As Lakeland Veterinary Clinic of Perham celebrates its 40th anniversary, Dr. Bill Rose reflects on his grandfather and the family of longstanding staff members at their local animal care facility.
“I’m 69 and he’s 71,” said Kathy Gould, who co-owns T. A. Gould Jeweler in Perham with her husband Tom. “We’re ready to sell the business and the building, or just the building.”
He said he used a mobile smoker to cater weddings or offer smoked meats at street fairs and other community events before he took over the Wadena building that formerly housed a Chinese restaurant.
