Tonight, at Columbia University, the epicenter of the demonstrations, dozens of propalestinian students have barricaded themselves inside a campus building, and they now face expulsion from the ivy league school. A White House Spokesman today saying forcibly taking over buildings is not peaceful, it is wrong. At the university of North Carolina in chapel hill, police forcefully removed protesters this morning. More than half of those arrested were not even affiliated with the university. In recent weeks, protests have been staged at more than 60 campuses. More than a thousand people have been arrested. Many protesters are calling for the schools to cut ties with companies linked to israel and to be transparent about their investments.
