Six Flags has responded to a guest’s recent claim that she was harassed and “body-shamed” by security guards at the amusement park’s Frontier City franchise in Oklahoma City, Okla.
The woman uploaded the incident to TikTok and Facebook, claiming that she was banned from the park for five years as a result of the confrontation.
The Forth Worth Star-Telegram reports how Bailey Breedlove had been attending the park with her family when a female officer approached her 11-year-old daughter for rolling down a hill on her skate shoes as Breedlove was holding her hand.
MLB Trade Rumors
The Rangers have agreed to a deal with Cuban infielder
Andy Ibanez, Jeff Wilson of the Forth Worth Star-Telegram reports on Twitter. Last we checked in, the 22-year-old had changed his representation to Relativity Baseball.
Ibanez’s deal with Texas is worth $1.6MM, reports MLB.com’s Jesse Sanchez (via Twitter). That figure means that the Rangers have spent $4.2MM of the roughly $4.5MM they have to spend after acquiring the aforementioned bonus slots. Texas recently added to its international pool via trade, and it could well be that the club was lining itself up to add Ibanez, who is subject to the international signing restrictions.
Why Didn’t Baylor Offer More Money to Keep Kim Mulkey from LSU?
Amid the hubbub and hurrahs of Kim Mulkey s arrival in Baton Rouge, there are rumblings - though they be slight - that the Hall of Fame Coach s jump from Baylor to the bayou wasn t met with universal sadness in Waco.
A report published Monday in the Forth Worth Star Telegram more than implies that the Louisiana native s relationship with some of Baylor s powers-that-be was less than great, as evidenced by the university s failure to make Mulkey an offer to stay.
From writer Mac Engel s Star-Telegram column: Sources said when LSU made its offer she went to Baylor for a counter, and to address her list of concerns, but both (Athletic Director Mack) Rhoades and Baylor president Linda Livingstone passed.
