Healing America’s Heroes, a non-profit organization based in Fort Stanton, New Mexico, has announced a veterans outreach event will take place in Hobbs, New Mexico, from April 11 to April 17. This event, sponsored by the New Mexico Department of Veterans Services, will provide separate sessions for both men and women. In Lea County, the mental health concerns of veterans are a critical focus for the organization, particularly for those experiencing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Military Sexual Trauma (MST), and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
