Fort Qu’Appelle Elementary School switching to online learning due to COVID-19 By Ryan McNally Feb 3, 2021 4:48 PM A third case of COVID-19 has been found at Fort Qu’Appelle Elementary School according to Prairie Valley School Division. The school is now moving to Level 4 of the Safe Schools plan, requiring all students in all grades to start online learning Thursday. Students are scheduled to return to in-class learning on Feb. 22. Bert Fox Community High School in Fort Qu’Appelle is not impacted. According to the school’s Facebook page, Bert Fox currently has zero active cases.

By Craig Read Feb 3, 2021 5:16 PM The Prairie Valley School Division is advising the public that a third case of COVID-19 has been confirmed, in an individual associated with the Fort Qu’Appelle Elementary School. After consulting with Public Health officials, the school is moving to Level Four of the province’s Safe Schools Plan, with students in all grades shifting to online learning, beginning tomorrow (Thursday, Feb. 4). At this time, Prairie Valley officials anticipate that students will be able to return to classrooms on February 22nd.

Fort Qu’Appelle Elementary School is closing until Feb. 22 due to COVID-19. In a media release Wednesday, the Prairie Valley School Division said it had been told by public health officials that a third individual associated with the school had tested positive for the virus. As a result, the school is moving to Level 4 of the province’s Safe Schools Plan, meaning all students will shift to online learning starting Thursday.
