The 450 manufacturing workers in Procter and Gamble’s South Boston will be offered jobs at Proctor & Gamble’s 150-acre campus in Andover as part of the $1 billion plan to modernize both locations, the Globe details.
Gillette has produced shaving blades and razors in South Boston for over a century, but within the next two to three years, its owner Procter & Gamble will be moving the manufacturing plant to Andover, while 750 jobs will be kept in the city.
