For the love of equines: Jean Cherie show focuses on Mare Island mare
MARE ISLAND Jean Cherie and the Mare Island Art Studios are welcoming “small herds” to its first exhibit in a year.
“The Horse Show Retrospective” pays homage to the equine with an emphasis on the horse that graced the Mare Island logo.
Guests arriving at the studio will be greeted by Cherie’s artwork that includes a mare logo above the door, which features twisted black poles also done by Cherie.
