FORT Dunree and Head is to be developed into a new world-class visitor experience following an announcement of a €12.5 million investment.
The news has just come from Minister for Tourism Catherine Martin and Fáilte Ireland, the latter putting €9.3 million into the project.
Over the first five years of operation the project will generate €19.5m in direct tourism expenditure supporting 550 jobs in the area. Twelve new jobs will be created at the attraction.
