Of des moines, where police say someone shot and killed two officers in two separate shootings. Just after 1oclock, someone shot an officer near Urbandale High School and then 20 minutes later, another shooting where an officer was shot and killed a few blocks south of Merle Hay Mall. Both officers were sitting in their cars when someone attacked. We listened to a news c police. They say there is no one in custody at this point in time. They call the suspect a coward, and police are working quickly to try to determine who is the shooter. Theres someone out there shooting Police Officers we hope we find him before anyone else gets hurt and defiently dont want anyone in the public or in the community to get hurt. Theres no sign of any funding. But the louisiana congressman says cedar rapids could move up the list as congress revisits other projects. Weve started deauthorizing projects meaning a project thats been waiting to get funding but is really a lower priority were taking out of the bill altogether so that you have higher, more important projects like this one.
