Police arrest 17-year-old in connection with University of Arizona shooting in Tucson Audrey Jensen, Arizona Republic © Tucson Police Department Alonzo Orosco Police said they have arrested a 17-year-old in connection with the fatal shooting of a student on the University of Arizona s campus on Feb. 20.  Tucson police, university police and homicide detectives said they identified and arrested Alonzo Orosco, 17, who is accused of fatally shooting Forrest Keys, 20, in the area of the Cherry Avenue garage on campus near Fourth Street and Enke Drive.  Police did not say what led to the arrest of Orosco on Thursday in connection with the shooting or release details about the potential motive.

The school said Forrest Beckett Keys was shot during an incident at the Cherry Avenue Garage and it is being investigated as a homicide. The attention is now turning to campus safety, and what can be done to prevent another tragic death like this.
