Eymael, who handled Simba s rivals Yanga in the Mainland Premier League, has blamed the team’s heavy defeat to a lack of concentration and poor marking, and further said Chiefs have put themselves in a great position because they didn t concede any away goals.
“Sometimes I will say perhaps it was a good day for Kaizer [Chiefs] and a very bad day for Simba when you receive 4-0 is a difficult day and Chiefs did everything very well,” Eymael told

“Simba rested at the weekend and Chiefs played so, will Simba take the advantage, or they will be affected by missing the derby? Well, I don’t know but it will not be easy for the two sides.

“Already now with the games in hand, Simba have 70 percent chances of being crowned champions despite at one moment of the league Yanga had a nine-point advantage over Simba with the same number of games, the only hope for Yanga to stay in the battle for the title is to beat Simba.
“If Simba wins their two games in hand, then they will be 10 points in front of Yanga, and if Yanga loses the derby, they will have to pay attention for the second position on the log.”
Eymael has further said after the derby Yanga will have to play three matches away from home which will not be easy for them.
I do not know how Simba are going to plan for this game even though they have a good squad. They should not be certain that a win will go their way because, in such an encounter, one would not be intelligent to feel a victory is guaranteed, Lunymila told Azam TV.
