Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who was key to the GP takeover of the U.S. House in the 1990s and orchestrated his party's famously successful "Contract with America" for voters, says Joe Biden's new budget plan is a Social Security killer.
Sixty-four percent of all voters polled said they do believe Biden was elected legitimately.

The new poll comes five months after Congress certified Biden s Electoral College victory despite repeated unfounded claims from Trump and his supporters that the 2020 presidential election was rigged against him and stolen.
In some parts of the country, Republicans continue to lead efforts to recount, throw out or cast doubt on the legitimacy of local election results.
Trump has not announced his future political plans, including whether he intends to run for president again, but the Quinnipiac poll found that 85 percent of Republicans said they would prefer to see candidates running for elected office who mostly agree with the former president. And 66 percent of GOP voters indicated they would like to see Trump run for president in 2024.
“We are much better off if we keep focusing on the Democrats. Period,” Gingrich said while he was leaving Palm Beach, Fla., this weekend, according to The Associated Press.
During a fundraiser for Republicans at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida on Saturday, Trump tore into McConnell for not embracing his false claims of widespread electoral fraud in the 2020 election and a rigged election.

They would have fought it,” Trump reportedly told the assembled Republican National Committee members. “I hired his wife. Did he ever say thank you? Trump added in a reference to his appointment of Elaine Chao for Transportation secretary.
