Baldur’s Gate 3 fans are in for a treat. D&D’s newest campaign book, Phandelver and Below: The Shattered Obelisk, feels custom made for them. No romance, though.
The cast of Netflix’s hit show
Stranger Things is finally sitting down to play Dungeons & Dragons for real. A special actual play session, lead by Wizards of the Coast principal story designer Chris Perkins, goes live on YouTube Dec. 18. Participants include David Harbour (Jim Hopper), Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), and Natalia Dyer (Nancy Wheeler). A teaser trailer was released Tuesday on the
Stranger Things YouTube channel.
The title of the actual play event is
Lost Odyssey: Toy Time for Ten-Towns. It’s a reference to the populated area in the center of Icewind Dale, the northern part of the Forgotten Realms’ Sword Coast region. That’s where the most recent campaign module for D&D takes place. Called
