BRAZIL, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) The Brazil Concert Band, which bills itself as “the oldest continuous concert band in Indiana,” will open 2021 with programs at Forest Park, rain or shine, beginning June 6 and every Sunday through August 29 at 8 p.m.
Area musicians are invited to join the BCB by contacting director Matthew Huber at mmjjhuber@gmail.com or (812) 691-1341. New members must be at least a freshman in high school and own their band instrument. The first rehearsal will be Tuesday June 1 at 7 p.m. at the Forest Park Band Shell or, if rain, in the Pavilion.
