READERS have the chance to win a £300 trolley dash at Sainsbury s, as part of a fundraising event for Poole s Forest Holme Hospice. Kirsty Perks, Forest Holme Hospice Charity, said, “This is a real once in a lifetime opportunity and we are very grateful that Sainsbury’s, Poole has generously given us this incredible prize again to raise vital funds for the hospice. I imagine a lot of people would love to have three minutes to race around a store on their own to fill up a trolley with goodies. This prize could just be the tonic for one lucky winner as we’ll hopefully come out of lockdown by then.”

POOLE S Dolphin Shopping Centre is gearing up for the festive period with various activities, including a pop-up Christmas shop, Forest Holme’s Tree of Remembrance and the opening of three brand-new retailers. This year the centre’s Christmas tree, located outside in the middle of Falkland Square, will be used by Forest Holme Hospice as its Tree of Remembrance. Shoppers can write a message for a loved-one on a star, which will hang on the tree in return for a small donation to the charity. Forest Holme also has a contactless donation station in the centre, just outside Beales, making it easier and safer to donate this season.
