Hospitalizations drop as 32 new COVID-19 cases reported in Waterloo region
The number of people being treated for COVID-19 in Waterloo region s hospitals dropped by six to 17 on Wednesday. The region reported 32 new COVID-19 cases. It marks the fourth straight day of cases numbering in the 30s.

33 new COVID-19 cases reported in Waterloo region Tuesday
There were 33 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Waterloo region on Tuesday. The number of people in the region s hospitals also rose by four to 23, while the number of people in the intensive care unit dropped by one to 12.

The 31 new cases of COVID-19 brings the total in May to 1,760, the fourth highest number of cases in a single month. The number of hospitalizations dropped to 19 and active cases also fell.
30 new COVID-19 cases reported in Waterloo region Tuesday
There were 30 new COVID-19 cases reported in Waterloo region Tuesday, the lowest number since April 4. The new cases brought the total so far in May to 1,508. That makes May the fourth highest month for new cases reported.
