The West Suffolk Council portion of the council tax bill is set to rise by up to 22p per week from April, as part of efforts to meet the financial challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.
West Suffolk Council s cabinet on Tuesday night outlined its 2021/22 budget plans, which features a Band D property facing a 3p per week increase in the former St Edmundsbury area, and 22p per week increase in the old Forest Heath area.
It continues a process to unify council tax rates between the two predecessor areas over a number of years, due to be completed by 2022/23.
Across the border, in west Suffolk, jabs will be given out from Monday (January 11) at the Jubilee Centre in Mildenhall, serving people in the old Forest Heath district.
In east Suffolk, Sole Bay Health Centre, in Southwold, has also been designated as a vaccination site from next week.

All but one area of Suffolk also saw a decrease in the number of long-term empty homes, with Babergh and Mid Suffolk s figures reducing by 33 and 31 respectively, while the East Suffolk figure, combining the former Suffolk Coastal and Waveney district councils, reduced by four to 1,126.

I don t think this is. A report by the Home Office says the use of so-called legal highs house fallen dramatically since they were banned in 2016 but the supply of the drugs has gone underground the substances mimic the effects of illegal drugs a policeman and 2 other people have been killed by a gunman who opened fire at a hospital in Chicago the shooter also died although it is unclear whether he killed himself or died in an exchange of fire with the police speaking at a news conference superintendent Eddie Johnson from the Chicago Police Department praised the actions of the officers involved in the shooting those officers there are spined it saved a lot of life so there s no doubt in my mind that all those officers that responded were heroes and they saved a lot of lies because we just don t know how much damage he was prepared to do the residents living near an X. Which roundabout says it may be necessary for the former road layouts to be reinstated millions of pounds has been sp
