It happened last night as pc Andrew Harper was attending reports of a burglary near to the a4 between reading and newbury. Thames Valley Police have released a statement. Thames Valley Police say 10 people have been arrested. Some of the information we have from the statement that has been posted on their website. A Murder Investigation has been launched after a Thames Valley Police Officer died following an incident in berkshire. This happened at around 11 30pm last night close to the all. Bath road, between reading and newbury. The incident happened at the crossroads of ufton lane and lambdens hill, near to sulhamstead. Danny shaw is with me with more. Ten people have been arrested, all male aged between 13 and 30 according to thames Valley Police. It appears the Police Officer, pc Andrew Harper, was investigating
