The Honourable Mr Justice Horner was educated at Campbell College which he leftin 1974. He then attended St Catharine’s College, Cambridge from 1975-1978 . He was called to the Bar in 1979. He was appointed a QC in 1996. OPP are investigating a sudden death on Pelee Island.
Police say around 9:15 am on January 25th, 2021, they were called by Essex County Emergency Medical Services after one person was found deceased in a motor vehicle.
Essex County OPP has engaged aviation services to transport officers from the Criminal Investigation Branch and Forensic Investigation Services to Pelee Island to investigate the matter.

WINDSOR, ONT. Essex County OPP have launched a sudden death investigation after a person was found dead in a motor vehicle on Pelee Island. Monday around 9:15 a.m., Leamington area officers were advised by Essex County Medical Services (EMS) of a sudden death on Pelee Island. Police say one person was found dead in a motor vehicle. Officers from the Criminal Investigation Branch and Forensic Investigation Services were transported to Pelee Island by helicopter to investigate the matter.
