The CSC said CSE-PPT will be held in Regions VI (Western Visayas), VII (Central Visayas), XII (Soccsksargen-South Cotabato, Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, General Santos), and Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). The civil service exam will be the first since the outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID) in the country last year.
A total of 12 testing centers in the four regions have so far been identified. The CSC said the number of testing centers “may be subject to change in light of the emerging/evolving COVID-19 situation.”
The application period started on May 14 and will end on June 3, 2021.
In its Examination Announcement No. 01, series of 2021, the CSC has provided the list of qualification or admission requirements.

The CSC said the eligibility may be used to vie for career positions in the government.
“The CSC grants the Honor Graduate Eligibility (HGE) to graduates of private higher education institutions in the Philippines from school year 1972-1973 and thereafter, with baccalaureate/bachelor’s degree recognized by the Commission on Higher Education, or state/local college or university with baccalaureate/bachelor’s degree included in its charter, or baccalaureate/bachelor’s degree duly approved by its Board of Trustees/Board of Regents,” it said in a statement.
It noted that CSC Resolution No. 1302714 was issued on Dec. 17, 2013 to expand the grant of eligibility and include honor graduates from foreign schools.
