Pakistan grants Landing Rights Permission to Russian TV Russia Today (RT TV) February 2, 2021 ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Russian TV Channel RT on Tuesday officially received the Landing Rights in Pakistan from the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA). The PEMRA granted the Landing Rights Permission for Foreign Satellite TV Channel to the “Russian Today (RT TV)” for the “News & Current Affairs” Category, enabling the latter to air its transmission in Pakistan through the available Cable network. The Signing Ceremony was held at the PEMRA Headquarters in Islamabad on Tuesday. The Chairman PEMRA Muhammad Saleem Baig presented the documents to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of RUPA MEDIA (SMC-PVT) Limited Dr. Shahid Hasan.
