A third Aerolíneas Argentinas flight carrying nationals of the South American country who had been evacuated through the Safe Return operation from war-torn Israel via Rome landed at Ezeiza s International Airport, it was reported Friday.
Argentine Science Minister Daniel Filmus Thursday signed the Artemis Accords during a ceremony at Casa Rosada with President Alberto Fernández, NASA Administrator Bill Nelson, US Ambassador Marc R. Stanley, and Foreign Minister Santiago Cafiero. Argentina became the 28th nation to sign the Accords, and the fifth Latin American country, following Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Mexico.
Presidents Alberto Fernández of Argentina, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of Brazil, Gustavo Petro of Colombia, and Emmanuel Macron of France Monday got together in Brussels on the sides of the EU-Celac Summit with Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodríguez and opposition leader Gerardo Blyde in a multilateral effort to find a solution to the political crisis in the Bolivarian country. Also participating in the gathering was the EU s top diplomat Josep Borrell.
The Argentine president addressed the 3rd Summit of Heads of State and Government of the European Union (EU) and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac in its Spanish acronym) taking place in Belgium. He then met with Italian premier Giorgia Meloni.
