World War II planes visit county this weekend

Flights will be available in a General Motors TBM Avenger.

Displays at the airport will include a Bell UH-1 Huey helicopter that flew in Vietnam. Warbird rides are an opportunity for the public to sit in the same seats as did the crew of our aircraft in World War II, feel the same power of the engines at take-off just as they did and smell the same smells they did. Pete Ballard World War II military planes will provide tours and rides this weekend at the Warrenton-Fauquier Airport near Midland.
