Foreign investors loaded up on Chinese stocks for a third straight month in April, adding to evidence that global fund managers have become more positive about the world’s second-largest market.
Foreigners were net buyers of shares worth 607.6 billion won ($455.10 million) in their 18th session of buying out of the last 20 sessions. In the other two, their sales were by just small margins.
Foreign portfolio investors bought a net 127.2 billion rupees ($1.53 billion) of bonds in November, the highest since June 2017, data from Clearing Corp of India showed.
Sri Lanka stocks gained on Wednesday (07) to its highest in more than five months in high turnover while net foreign inflows recorded its peak in over three years led by market heavyweight Expolanka, brokers said.
