The newly appointed Representative of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for Sri Lanka and the Maldives, Vimlendra Sharan, presented his credentials to Foreign Affairs Minister Dinesh Gunawardena yesterday (29). Posted on February 25th, 2021 Courtesy Adaderana The Attorney General has received Volume 01 of the report of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI) that investigated the Easter Sunday terror attacks. The AG’s coordinating officer said that Volume 01 of the report was received today from the Secretary to the President. However, the Attorney General has requested the President’s Secretary to submit all proceedings, documents and materials (Volumes 2-5) of the commission to the Attorney General’s Department, she said. The President’s Media Division also confirmed that the report was officially handed over by the Director General, Legal Affairs of the Presidential Secretariat Hariguptha Rohanadheera at the Attorney General’s Department today (25).
