from san jacinto county in texas. a manhunt has expanded for a mass shooting suspect. houston fbi officials in just a last hour released new photos of francisco oropeza. priscilla thompson is joining us from cleveland, texas. welcome. this manhunt has been going since friday night. i know officials thought they had the suspect surrounded yesterday. what happened? yeah, authorities are saying that the suspect, quote, could be anywhere. what we know is that authorities were out on horseback. they had dogs tracking him. they also had a heat sensing drone up in the air. they felt they had this perimeter around him in this wooded area. ultimately, they held a press conference last night and announced that all they found there was the suspect s cell phone and some of his clothing. after that, the tracking dogs lost his scent. at that press conference, they talked about where the investigation goes from here. take a listen to some of what they had to say. he could be anywhere no
away the body of the one victim who was killed in this ramming attack that took place earlier this evening here, and you re absolutely right. it s right on the promenade here in television, and there s some social media video out there of that car that you see there as well. that s now laying there overturned just racing down that promenade at some point, getting off course and then flipping over several times before just coming down on its roof, the latest that we have from the authorities here is that there are seven people who were injured in this four of them being tourists. three as you mentioned come from the united kingdom, and one is from italy. some of them are moderately injured and some of them lightly injured. some actually tried to flee to a hotel in the area to seek help. but as you can see, this is a wide cordon here now in the center of till aviv. there s a lot of ambulances. obviously a lot of police cars here as investigators are obviously still working the

administration acted indecisively and waited too long, letting the balloon float across the continental u.s. for days. president biden says the military advised him there would be less danger to the public in shooting down the balloon once it got over the ocean. lawmakers are reacting sharply and along party lines. i want to start by doing something that i don t do very often, which is commending joe biden for actually having the guts to shoot this down. that was the right thing to do. that is absolutely what the president should have done. unfortunately he didn t do that until a week after it entered u.s. airspace. they re saying we should have shot down the balloon the minute we saw it. i would use two words in answering these gop criticisms. they are premature, and they are political. presidents have the ability to go before a camera, go before the nation and basically explain these things early on, and his failure to do so, i don t understand that. i don t understan
