Over 300 delegates from more than 30 countries will take part in the high-level international conference “Eurasian security: Reality and prospects in a transforming world” that will be held in Minsk on 26-27 October, BelTA reports.
Belarus condemns in the strongest possible terms the decision of the Polish authorities to deny entry to a Belarusian parliamentarian, member of the national delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly who was officially included in the OSCE PA election observation mission that was set to monitor the upcoming parliamentary elections in Poland.
"For more than 30 years (and I think this is a universally recognized fact) Belarus has been honestly fulling its obligations under the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe. The country has destroyed 3,200 units of conventional weapons and equipment limited by the treaty," Maria Zakharova said.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Aleinik will lead the Belarusian delegation at the 2023 BRICS summit that will be held in Johannesburg, the Republic of South Africa, from 22 to 24 August, Press Secretary of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Anatoly Glaz told BelTA.
Following the talks, the foreign ministers signed an intergovernmental agreement on mutual abolition of visas and an intergovernmental agreement on the establishment of a joint commission on trade and economic cooperation.
