By 1908, the year when the Ford Model T came to be, there were already many cars roaming the roads of the world. But it was this particular car that went on to prove pretty much everyone can afford and control such horseless carriages. 12 photos
Ushered into the world by the father of the mass-produced automobile, Henry Ford, it was kept in production for a great number of years. Named in 1999 the most influential car of the 20th century by the Global Automotive Elections Foundation, the Model T expanded by the time production ended in 1927 to include pretty much all body styles known to man at that time.
Flame-Tattooed 1949 Mercury Coupe Plays the Lead Sled Card, Not Quite There 14 Jan 2021, 9:30 UTC ·

If back in the early 2010s, you were too young to care, the name Mercury might not mean all that much to you. The brand, a long time companion of Ford, was the Blue Oval’s most prominent victim during the economic crisis of that time. 14 photos
Born in 1938, Mercury stayed faithfully at Ford’s side until 2011. During its life, it mostly copied what the big brother was doing, but that does not rob it of some value in the eyes of car collectors. Especially when talking about the cars made in the golden age of car design, the post-war years.

If we were to survey the hot rod market, we’d probably find more Ford-based builds out there than anything else. For reasons lost to history, Blue Ovals made in the early 1930s seem to have become canvases on which modern-day custom shops exercise their talents. 11 photos
This January, as we move through our Ford Month coverage, we’ve had a bunch of high-profile hot rods crossing our screens, from the rare, copper-painted 1933 3-Window to the 1932 American Graffiti tribute. But there are countless others out there, still waiting to be discovered and given their fifteen minutes of fame.

In 2020, 61,090 new ‘Stangs were unleashed into the wild, making it America’s best-selling sports car for the sixth straight year. In contrast, only 29,775 Camaros were freed from the confines of Chevy dealerships, which is sad for its fans and even more depressing for GM. 9 photos
For almost 60 years, these cars have brought joy to people all around the world with each generation, becoming so much more than just loud and grossly overpowered means of transportation.
The Mustang started it all back in 1965, giving birth to a new type of sports coupes that would eventually become known as pony cars.

The 1965 Mustang has a well-deserved place in automotive history books for a good reason. It gave birth to a lineup that eventually became one of the most successful cars in the entire world, with millions of people out there still dreaming, not necessarily about owning one, but at least driving it. 17 photos
Originally offered as a hardtop and convertible and only a few months later as a fastback, too, the Mustang is the kind of car that certainly doesn’t deserve to be left abandoned in the middle of nowhere under the clear sky.
And yet, some people still do it for a reason that we, car lovers, simply can’t understand, so watching a Mustang like the one we have here and shedding a tear has become perfectly normal.
