A Bayard woman was uninjured but jailed after striking two parked cars, a fence and a house late Sunday. The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene in the 200 block of 3
rd Street in Bayard at approximately 11:55 p.m. Upon arrival, they found 25-year-old Ashley Faith Andrews in a 2003 Ford Expedition that had sustained significant front end damage and was parked in a residential yard. An investigation and witness reports revealed that Andrews allegedly exited an alleyway northbound and turned west onto 3
rd Street. At this point, she lost control and struck the front of a 2007 Nissan Sentra that was parked on the roadway, causing approximately $4,000 in damage to that vehicle. The impact caused the Sentra to hit the front end of a 2018 Honda Civic, also parked on the roadway, causing about $2,000 in damage.
