Gilead Fitness celebrates Lift-a-thon success

MOUNT GILEAD Gilead Fitness (GF) members and friends cheered each other on as 14 participants vied for first place honors in three weight-lifting events at Gilead Fitness last Saturday.
Gilead Fitness board member Kim Bood explained that each participant competed in all three events that included: squat, bench press and dead lift. The total lifted from all three events were added together to determine the winner.
Field of Treats opens for the season

MOUNT GILEAD Customers left Field of Treats Monday with a smile on their face and an ice cream cone in their hand.
“We’re glad they’re back,” said Kaci Lanker, who stopped by with Mechelle Dodrill and their children.
“We will be here a lot this summer,” added Lanker and Dodrill.
Gilead Fitness celebrates new look, hours

MOUNT GILEAD A new chapter opened in February for the Morrow County Community Center with its new name “Gilead Fitness,” a new logo and 24/7 access to the gym.
“It’s really exciting to see all the new changes you’ve made,” said Chamber of Commerce member Erin Kelty at the Chamber’s ribbon cutting for the gym Thursday.
