More than 90,000 startups are registered in India, making it the fourth largest in the world, according to Uttar Pradesh chief secretary Durga Shankar Mishra. He also stated that the country ranks third in terms of startup ecosystem, with around 10,000 startups registered in Uttar Pradesh alone. The comments were made during the inauguration of Startup Samvad 2.0 at Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. The event showcased 48 startups in various sectors. Mishra highlighted the importance of converting ideas into successful business models and encouraged youth to focus on problem-solving through entrepreneurship.
