The Empire State Building will shine in the colors of the Pan African flag to honor Black History Month on Thursday.
Special guest Bevy Smith will be on hand as the building is lit black, red and green at dusk, 6:07 p.m. EST.
The television and radio personality, former co-host of Fashion Queens and Page Six TV, recently released a memoir, Bevelations: Lessons from a Mutha, Auntie, Bestie.
For the second year in a row, the Fashion For All Foundation, founded by Hannah Stoudemire and Ali Richmond, partnered with the New York state chapter of the NAACP for the building lighting, to foster celebration, pride and acknowledgment of the Black community’s achievements throughout history, organizers said.
