West Ham are “keeping tabs” on promising Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier, according to a report.
Current Hammers No.1 Lukasz Fabianski is out of contract at the end of the season. The club do have a one-year extension option in his deal, but have not yet exercised that option.
There was talk before Christmas of the former Arsenal man getting a new two-year deal. As yet though Fabianski, who will turn 36 next month, has yet to have his immediate future mapped out.
“Talks are ongoing,” Fabianski told
“I’d like to stay at West Ham. Extend the contract because I feel good here. I have to look at my son because he started school and I wouldn’t want to put him in a situation where he would have to change school every year.”
