Police say its no coincidence this is the only photo they have of a gunman who may be behind a dozen store robberies on long island since august. Most of these stores had no Video Systems whatsoever. Reporter this Huntington Station store one robbed just last night did have a Surveillance System but the camera shy gunman by stealing the recording device linked to that Surveillance System. Masked, armed, scary. Reporter a Security Guard greeted customers at the pier 1 store today. It all came just a day after the gunman tied up four people inside with zip ties. A practice hes employed at other locations. Luckily, no one has been seriously hurt thus far. This is a sign of our times and im not sure that extra security is the answer to the problem.
