No other products are believed to be affected by the recall. Tesco also has a recall for Tesco Finest Festive Fruit & Nut Selection as consumers may still have the item at home. A Tesco statement said: We’ve been made aware by our supplier that some packs of Tesco Finest Festive Fruit & Nut Selection have been packed in Tesco Finest Festive Belgian Dark Chocolate Brazil Nuts packaging. This means that sulphur dioxide is not mentioned on the label, so the mispackaged product is a possible risk to customers with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide or sulphites. The correctly packed product is not affected.

A Tesco statement said: If you suffer from sensitivity to sulphur dioxide or sulphites, please don’t eat this product. Instead, return it to a Tesco store where a full refund will be given. No receipt is required. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Food products can be recalled or withdrawn when a problem becomes apparent with them. When food items are withdrawn they are taken off of shelves.
