There was an alert sent out about an hour and a half ago warning of a suspect to the Champion Center armed with a machete. Folks that are once gym is live on campus he will have an update on that very fluid breaking news. Its good out to a News Conference getting underway as we speak. Everything on campus is normal operations with the exception of the Champion Center we still have a lot of Law Enforcement personnel there. Theyll be there the rest of day. We would ask everybody to avoid the Champion Center area for the rest of the day. 9 15 this morning a 911 call from the Champion Center the report was a man who was menacing with a machete. Part of our campus protocols when we have an emergency like that is to immediately text the entire campus through the tax system to all students faculty and staff.
