Birchwood Food Pantry Project thanks community for kind donations

Liz Cotterill, Asda Community Champion, has helped donate to the Food Pantry Project THE Birchwood community has been pulling together to help support the Food Pantry Project. Since April 2020, the three churches in the area have been delivering food parcels to vulnerable members of the community during the coronavirus pandemic. Residents do not need a voucher or referral, but the project is only available to those who are in real need. A spokesperson said: To be eligible to receive a food parcel you either need to be self-isolating because of age or health conditions and have no way of getting food, or you have had an unexpected change of financial circumstances.
