Food and water distribution is intended for families and individuals who reside in these neighborhoods and are unable to travel to other pickup locations, Weems wrote. Resources will be distributed by TISD school buses.
So, if you live in those neighborhoods and are experiencing food and water insecurity, you re welcome to stop by and take a care package. If you are not in immediate need of these supplies, please do not take resources from those in need right now.
Churches Touching Lives for Christ at 702 W. Ave. G will also be distributing food from 12:30-3:40 PM on Monday and Tuesday.
