Patty break this down for us. Reporter the economy added 151,000 jobs last month. In that was lower than a lot of expectations, but it was still above 150. The Unemployment Rate dropped to 4. 9 as stephanie said that is the lowest rate in nearly eight years. And the number of people participating in the labor force, that went up, and that is a really, really positive sign. Another positive are manufacturing jobs. The economy added 29,000 of them last month. The u. S. Dollar has been so strong compared to other currencies, so was super encouraging. Average wages went up as well.
