With so many people in need of help, the City Wide Club said they’re in desperate need of at least 200 more volunteers to help with the 44th annual Christmas Eve Super Feast on Saturday.
As Houston residents brace themselves for colder-than-normal temperatures later this week and into Christmas weekend, officials have announced warming centers in the area folks can turn to.
Officials said residents should prepare for the hard freeze that will begin Dec. 22 but said the conditions will not be as severe as during the winter storm in 2021.
