Major roadworks for main Bolton arterial route

DIVERSION: St Peter’s Way MOTORISTS in Bolton are set for up to three weeks of disruption as a slip road to a major arterial route is closed to enable building works. A public notice issued by Bolton Council advises that the northbound entrance slip road for the A666, St Peters Way at Bradford Street in the town centre will be closed to all traffic from Monday, February 22. The closure, to allow ‘construction work’ is likely to in place for up to three weeks. An alternative route for motorists heading north during the temporary closure has also been published by the council.
