MONMOUTH COUNTY – Police say they ve made an arrest in an ongoing investigation of multiple burglaries in Monmouth County.
Leamon Washington, 48, of Wall Township has been charged with several offenses in connection with burglaries in the Ocean Township area, police said.
The arrest happened on April 4th at approximately 4:13 a.m. when officers responded to Danny s Place, located at 2104 Sunset Ave., for an alarm. Once on the scene, responding officers determined that a burglary had occurred at that location.

The front door to the business had been shattered and entry had been made, police said.
The suspect attempted to open the cash register but was unsuccessful and left the area, police said. The incident was captured on video surveillance.
