Storm system brings rain and high elevation snow late sunday through monday. Saturday morning temperatures around the valley are starting off crisp, with lows in the upper 40s and low 50s. Winds will be come breezy by mid morning as High Pressure to the east and a shortwave disturbance to the southwest create a tight Pressure Gradient that will drive valley gusts to speeds of up to 20 mph through about 4 p. M. Saturday. Southwesterly flow will bring in some subtropical moisture in the form of high clouds saturday afternoon around metro phoenix, signaling a change in the weather is taking shape. Look for valley above average saturday in the low 80s. By sunday, skies will be mostly cloudy with moisture continuing to pump into arizona ahead of a pacific storm system tracking towards the state.
