he was elected, wasn t going to give him a shot no matter how well he did. that is what they are doing but most americans have engaged in what is going on in washington dc. they want to see what is going on in their own lives. todd: one coasts is the west coast, specifically california and governor gavin newsom, the homeless crisis is bad and the president said if this continues to happen the feds are going to go in. is that the best strategy to read or cage? the president doing what he usually does, highlighting the failures a liberal socialist policies, we see it on the streets in california. he is going to call it out for what it is and remind you you deserve better. the federal government can help, there will be an opportunity to do that. that could be including opening up federal facilities, it could be more grants but making sure it is not wasted by bureaucracy.

going to reelect this president because they like what is going on in the country. todd: what is the response the democratic talking point but not everybody has been lifted up. they are in denial. you can look at the stats, people at the bottom of the economic ladder are getting the largest income, the unemployment rate for people without a college degree or a high school diploma it is at the lowest rate in history. because we have such a strong labor market those companies are hiring people they normally wouldn t so everyone is gaining right now. carley: donald trump s approval rating is at 42%. should his approval rating the higher, on the strength of the economy and if so why isn t it? you take it with a grain of salt. it is heavily weighted toward the coasts, a lot of population centers. when you look at the polls we have seen internally the president s reelect numbers are very strong and they see the economic gains. we have seen this president, a resistance movement from the d
