KATHMANDU, April 25: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), the regulator of the country’s aviation sector, has banned Fly Dubai’s managers from entering the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) “for spreading rumors of a bird-hit involving a FlyDubai aircraft that took off from TIA on Monday evening.
Tribhuvan International Airport was the departure point at 9.20 am. The following day, social media was flooded with videos of a plane catching fire in the skies of Nepal.
