Political Theatre - Theatres of Disappointment
Around the 33 minute mark you realise it s gonna go on like this for another hour. The seat is uncomfortable and the person sitting next to you has colonised the arm rest. You stifle a yawn, eyes water, the performer is looking right at you - did they notice? - bloody hell, what will you say about this in the foyer afterwards? Netflix is waiting, Stan is waiting, Amazon Prime is waiting. If only you could go home. It was a long trek to get here only to be disappointed by this terminally long tedious repetitive bloody thing.
