The Queensland State Bouldering Titles were held at new climbing gym Flow Bouldering over the weekend. The sport is set to be debuted at this year s Tokyo Games, less than 80 days away, which meant the stakes were raised over the weekend. He’ll grip the wall with another podium in his sights but simply pushing himself against the sport’s finest climbers on home turf is equally as exciting for Matt Fingleton.
A highly talented and tight knit community of climbers will converge on the Sunshine Coast this weekend for the Queensland Open and Masters Bouldering Titles at Flow Bouldering at Forest Glen.
Fingleton, 42, will take on the challenging variety of routes on the indoor rock walls in the masters division and will be on the hunt for this third podium after placing second in 2018 and third in 2019.
