that ceo gets stock and evaluated based on the profit performance of that corporation. the six super conference teams, the big guys, the ohio states, lsus, floridas, georgias, alabamas made over $1.1 billion in profit last year collectively, not saying 20%, 30%, 2% is right. all i m suggesting is when you evaluate it with that head set, these coaches certainly earn what a ceo would make. does that always go back to the school? does that always go back to the school and help the school even if they make that much money? it certainly does in many cases because it helps fund other programs. university of california, for example, has to cut baseball and gymnastics because they didn t generate enough revenue. they tried to self-fund these programs and clearly a lot of programs dip back into their fund. it goes back to the old axiom you have to spend money to make money and this is no different. andrew, talk about cal berkeley. they had to cut back, right? that s an argument in your
