to the normal life as quickly as possible. so we have a lot of work to do. but everybody is going to come together. we re going to get this state rebuilt. and this state is a state of strong resilient people. and we re going to get our jobs back and help build our companies again and then get this all cleaned up and hopefully get more tourists back in our state and get everybody back. now i ll turn it over to the major. i want to thank the governor for always being on site and the opportunity to show him some of the areas that were impacted heavily, the rescues happening yesterday, where there s damage in areas, we need to be rebuilding and clean up. we knew that this was going to be a major weather event, even when it shifted west. you all covered it. you heard us say it, this was going to be serious. what does serious bring? what mother nature brings, whether it is tornadoes, wind or flooding. this time, we woke up yesterday to a category 3 hurricane storm surge and tropical storm.
